A Canonical Look Inside A New Room In The TARDIS (UPDATE)

So the BBC Doctor Who Adventures games have been being downloaded around the UK and everyone agrees, ther're moderately fun, with a horrible control system that's even clumsier than the new Doctor but,  becaue they're considered as canon – and part of the Fifth Series – you've got to play them.

That's right, declared canon by the current production team. Which means that the room that we see inside the third episode, TARDIS, is indeed the first proper glimpse of any other rooms inside the TARDIS since the programme returned in 2005.

The wardrobe closet doesn't count.

The Drawing Room is something reminiscent of a stately home, something belonging to a returning colonel from the empire. Rich dark wood, bookcases, a roaring fire, oil painted portraits and all sorts of souvenirs picked up by the Doctor in his travels – including previous Adventure Game episodes.

What are the odds we may see it in the 2011 episodes?

Here are a few screencaps and trailer to the game, written by Who/Torchwood/Primeval/Spooks writer James Moran. It can be downloaded free in the UK now or bought from the US shortly.
