Deadpool and Cable Will Team Up Again In X-Force Movie
It's amazing that X-Men producer Simon Kinberg ever manages to get anything done, what with all the interviews that he does. Kinberg's latest sit-down occured with schedule-themed Hollywood gossip site Deadline, and during that interview, Kinberg revealed which characters will be the focal point of the upcoming X-Force film, saying, "We are working hard on New Mutants, Gambit with Channing Tatum, Deadpool 2 and the new X Force movie where Deadpool is alongside Cable and other main characters." Cable will first debut in Deadpool 2, with Stranger Things star David Harbour rumored to be in line for the role (against the better judgement of creator Sir Robert Liefeld). It looks like, following the massive success of Deadpool, Fox has decided that more of a good thing is more gooder. Hopefully, they don't burn us out on this dynamic duo too quickly, and the franchise continues to grow so that we can look forward to critically acclaimed Old Man Wade and Old Man Cable films sometime around 2034, after which, Patrick Stewart will retire from playing Professor X, for realz this time.
Oh yeah, and that Gambit movie is still happening, we guess.
