The Herald in Rock Hill reports an ongoing trademark battle between BATS BBQ, a barbeque restaurant in the area and DC Entertainment.
Beau and Travis Broussard (the restaurant is an acronym of Beau And Travis'S) sougt to trademark their name and logo, only to receive an objection and a following Cease-And-Desist notice from the company, despite the fact that BATS BBQ is not operating in any trade that competes with DC. However their logo is rather similar to the bat silhouette used in the Batman books, movies and… everything else.
