Ex-Cons, Angels, And Simon Bisley: Watch The Trailer For Titan's New Series 13 Coins

Titan is announcing a new series at the Diamond Retail Summit in Las Vegas this weekend, and for fans of supernatural comics with a hard-boiled edge like Hellblazer, this sounds like a winner.

13 Coins is drawn by Eisner Award winner Simon Bisley and written by Martin Brennan and Michael B. Jackson, the screenwriters behind Hitman: Absolution, with colors by Ryan Brown. It's a six part series hitting shops on October 8th, and features a "new superhero" of an unusual variety.

The official description reads:

The story of John Pozner, a tormented ex-con on a quest for vengeance, when he discovers that he is descended from angels, and is the living key to Earth's future, or Heaven's fall.

Here are the A and B covers for the series by Simon Bisley that establish pretty well how Bisley will handle the blend of criminal undertones and apocalyptic imagery on the book:
