Marvel Trademarks The Letter U

The letter "U" has been trademarked by Marvel Characters Inc for the following areas.

Providing an interactive website featuring technology that allows users to access digital publications; providing on-line non-downloadable software for use in accessing publications, news and information relating to comics books, comic magazines and stories; providing a website that gives computer users the ability to subscribe to online publications

Entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring non-downloadable electronic publications in the nature of comic books and comic magazines and stories; online publication of comic books, comic magazines and stories.

Subscription services namely, time-based access to digital comic book format publications.

Computer application software that may be downloaded via global computer networks and electronic communication networks for use in connection with computer, mobile computers, media players, cellular phones, wireless devices and portable handheld digital electronic devices, namely, software for accessing and reading digital comic book format publications.

They've also trademarked Marvel U Unlimited, the new name for Marvel's digital comic subscription offerings. But it's nice that that took possession of the letter as well!
