Ontario Shop Hosts Free Comic Book Day Food Drive

Big B Comics in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada are putting a twist on their year's Free Comic Book Day, as they will be offering an extra two free comics to customers that bring in a non-perishable food donation to the store for the Hamilton food bank. The donation will go towards helping to feed families within the community and make a positive impact.
In addition to the food drive, Big B Comics will also be hosting a costume contest and rewarding those who participate with an additional two free comics. In total one can receive up to 8 free comics for bringing in a non-perisable food item and cosplaying for Free Comic Book Day.
Big B Comics has three locations in Ontario, with stores in Niagara Falls, Barrie and the flagship location in Hamilton, Ontario. Big B Comics won a Shuster Award in 2008 for Best Comic Store in Canada.
