Peter Jackson said he would love to direct an episode of Doctor Who a while ago. The BBC said they would love him to direct an episode. And then… silence, with occasional rinse and repeats.

This video, featuring Peter Jackson polishing his Oscars and Peter Capaldi delivering paperwork from Steven Moffat, could be the first actual move.

Although, unsigned, could this be an announcement by way of teasing sketch?
