PITCH: London Crawling by Rich Johnston and Kris Carter

It was probably the early Torchwood that did it. What I thought was a wonderful concept, I felt was often lacking in execution. And while the Children Of Earth mini-series was glorious, it had moved away from that original idea.

So, naturally I thought I should have a go. And get it to London rather than Cardiff. If anyone's going to be standing on a building looking out across the city, I want it to be the BT Tower.

It's not Torchwood of course. It's possibly more Scooby Doo. A bunch of amateur investigators, successful once, that success binding them together, and the only ones with all the information in one place to see a planned and systematic alien invasion coming.
