The Gay Marriage – And Pulped Print Run – Of Mind The Gap #2 (UPDATE)
We get it, gay marriage is the new hot topic in comics right now. Archie Comics, Astonishing X-Men, Earth Two, it's all the rage. So Jim McCann wants a little of that and would like to point out that Mind The Gap #2 out next week from Image Comics has an already married same-sex couple.
An already married couple as well, no proposal and extravagant affair necessary. Less likely to hit the headlines, it's true, but that's because it doesn't affect the way people react to plastic toys and Saturday morning cartoons.
Interracial as well, I don't know, what is he like?
Of course what might interest some people more, considering the way certain comic books have been behaving after publication of late on the after market, is that the first print of issue 2 of Mind The Gap had to be pulped after the art on one page (nineteen) was printed black, with just the speech balloons showing. I understand that some copies may have made into the wild and Diamond may be issuing a recall notice. Remember when something similar happened with Phonogram?
