Superboy Explores the Phallic Future in Art from Bendis and Sook's Legion of Super-Heroes #1

DC Comics has released an unlettered preview of Legion of Super-Heroes #1, from "The Great One" Brian Bendis and Ryan Sook. The book isn't set to hit stores until November 6th, but final order cutoff is on Monday, so DC is giving readers a glimpse at what to expect in hopes they'll ask their local comic shop to reserve a copy for them.

In the preview, we see Superboy travel to the future where he admires its many penis-shaped buildings, before a conversation with Nazi Haircut Lad, Takes Too Much LSD Girl, and others is interrupted when Superboy realizes that if he flies out into space, it's not just the building but the entire planet of New Earth that has an overarching phallic theme.

Check out the preview below, as well as the cover to Legion of Super-Heroes #3.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
