That's One Creepy Cover Andres Ponce Did For Frankenstein: Storm Surge #2

There is something kind of bizarre and creepy about Andres Ponce's cover for Dean Koontz's Frankenstein: Storm Surge #2. I think it's more than just the look of joy on his face as he electrifies the group of people we see in the goggle's lenses… I think it's the goggles themselves. How big they are added to the broad smile makes this guy look maniacal. And as you can see it was a look that persisted from the original sketch on to the finished cover.
