The Grim and Gritty Melter Reboot We've All Been Waiting for in Morbius #1 [Preview]

Morbius #1 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, kicking off a new series starring everyone's favorite living vampire by Vita Ayala, Marcelo Ferreira, Roberto Poggi, and Dono Sanchez-Almara. We've got a preview below, finally answering the question: what if Marvel wised up and finally let beloved villain The Melter perform under a hard R rating?

And so we find the Melter in Brooklyn where he's about to apply a new method of bodily enhancement on one of his henchmen.

But when his incompetent minions begin freaking out just because Morbius the Living Vampire has arrived on the scene and started sucking their blood, the Melter murders indiscriminately.

Or at least memes. And this ain't a Bendis comic. No "The hell?!" here. It's all "The f**ck?!" baby! And more cursing as well.
