There Is A Police Sniper Watching San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H. This Is Not A Joke
I am British. So, yes, this kind of thing does disturb me. There is a police sniper watching the crowds of San Diego Comic-Con.
No, not him, that's a cosplayer from Team Fortress.
No, not her, that's a character from Overwatch.
And that's The Punisher, who has his own Netflix show now.
Yes, that's him.
San Diego Police Officer Tito Santos, positioned at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront where Boom! had their party last night, watching the crowd lining up for Hall H under those tents, with binoculars and rifle. All weekend long. And as seen by Robert Gauthier of the Los Angeles Times.
This deployment is as a result of recent terrorist activity in France, Dallas and Orlando.
Stay safe, people. And we trust Officer Santos won't freak out when he sees the zombie walk and start channelling Carl Grimes. He is, after all, a trained professional.
Why not give him a wave, Hall H'ers?
