Tom King Dedicates Tomorrow's Batman #23 To Bernie Wrightson

CBR is DC's media partner graced with a preview of tomorrow's Batman #23. While Newsarama was granted some semi-unlettered pages to follow.

Tom had previously tweeted this image, and it appears to come directly after the preview, as Swamp Thing comes to grips with a mortality he seems to have abandoned a long time ago. Oh, and he's still Alec Holland in DC Rebirth it seems. And it begins in a cinematic fashion, recently rather familiar to Swamp Thing's re-creator Alan Moore's more recent work in Cinema Purgatorio.

But as well as a "Swamp Thing created by" credit for Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, there's also a dedication "for Bernie", in remembrance to the character's co-creator who passed away last month.
