Venom Celebrates 25th-issue Anniversary with $6 Price Tag, Variant Bonanza

If you've ever been in a relationship, you know that anniversaries are a big deal. And Marvel Comics is sort of in a relationship with their readers. A co-dependent, possibly abusive relationship, sure, but a relationship nonetheless. So when one of their comics hits a big milestone anniversary issue (which, in the days of constant relaunches, qualifies for pretty much anything bigger than single digits), it's a time for celebration. And what better way to celebrate, true believers, than by bilking readers for an extra two bucks in the mighty Marvel maner and releasing a crapload of variant covers by such esteemed comics personalities as TBA, TBA, TBA, and Blank? The Blank, you ask? Yes. The Blank.

And so, in April, Marvel will publish Venom #25, by the self-proclaimed Bad Boy of Comics Donny Cates and superstar artist Mark Bagley, in which Eddie Brock faces a life-altering decision. That's right, it's Eddie's Choice when the aftermath of Venom Island hits in Venom #25 this April. What will happen to Venom next? Our guess: another crossover event.

See the solicit below, and Marvel's full April solicitations here.
