Vosburg Goes Noir In Retrowood: All Roads Lead To Rome

The debut issue from Asylum Press is 16 pages long and introduces us to Private Eye J. Parker Wrighte as he is hired by Monolith Studios to look into the suicide of one their contract actresses Pepper O'Dell. He discovers from her co-star Jack B. Nimbeau that the starlet wasn't the sweet and innocent girl she portrayed on the screen. Parker also crosses paths with the seductive siren Domino Mueller and accompanies her to a mysterious clinic run by Dr. Rome.
"We're excited to have Mike on board at Asylum," says publisher Frank Forte, "Retrowood fits in with our growing list of titles. We have a number of Retrowood one shots coming out as well as a new 4 issue series that Mike is drawing right now."
Vosburg has worked for Marvel, DC Comics and Valiant among others having taken on She-Hulk, G. I. Joe and Archer & Armstrong. He is most known for doing faux covers for the TV series Tales From The Crypt, doing almost every cover used in the show's 93 episode run.
