We're not sure, from this photo, if DC Comics co-publisher Dan DiDio totally wants to be at the Baltimore Retailer Summit…
Marvel's David Gabriel was pushing the success of attracting new customers for retailers with Star Wars – but also Squirrel Girl and Ms Marvel. DiDio gave a little jibe to Marvel stating that variants are great for marketing, but bad when used as a crutch to prop up sales numbers… not sure if the same thing counts for Dark Knight III though, with their 1:500 Jim Lee sketch cover…
Corey Murphy from Image Comics impressed the crowd, the only woman on the Premier Publishers & the State of the Business panel, talking about the importance of more women working in comic stores. Here's Jessica D'Alfoso from Quickstop Comics, nodding along.
