When The Gods Don't Think Like Us – Divinity II #1 In Stores Wednesday
When the Divinity series debuted last year, it was very different than anything else on the market. It told the story of a Russian cosmonaut from the cold war era that was launched into space and decades later returned with god-like powers. Like I said, different. It wasn't a superhero story as much as a look at the other side of the space race and what would happen if the most powerful human didn't think like most of us in the west.
On Wednesday, Dvinity II #1 hits stores, also part of a miniseries. Matt Kindt returns to continue the tale of Abrams Adams who, unbeknownst to the Soviet government, had a secret family that changed his outlook on life. And with this arc we find out a second cosmonaut has returned, Myshka, who wants nothing more than to follow the communist ideals she left the planet with.
Also returning is artist Trevor Hairsine whose hyper-detailed art style gives Divinity a look that stands out among all the Valiant titles.
Here is a preview of the first issue.
