Would You Buy All Your Comics from Walmart? [Poll]

There's been a lot of discussion about DC's decision to sell exclusive content from top creators like "The Great One" Brian Michael Bendis and Tom King in 100-page giant comics available only at Walmart. While some are glad to see comics available to a wider audience than the one that normally visits comic shops, others worry that the comics will cannibalize the local comic book store market by taking potential dollars spent by regular comic book readers and directing them to Walmart instead of the direct market.

While it's totally possible that comic shops can benefit from the increased visibility and potential readership growth brought on by Walmart comics, what if the apocalyptic scenario comes true and Walmart becomes a replacement for the local comic book store? Would you buy your comics from Walmart?

And what would it take to get you to make the switch? Better discounts? A pull service? Ordering comics on Walmart.com and having the ready to pick up at the store? Pogs?

Let us know by voting in the poll, and then get into the details with your fellow comic book fans in the comments.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
