Alfa Romeo F1 Team 2023 C43 Will Be Added To F1 22

Formula 1 fans will be happy to see that Alfa Romeo will be adding their livery and a specific car to F1 22 this March.

EA Sports and Codemasters announced this morning that the Alfa Romeo F1 Team 2023 C43 livery and car will be coming to F1 22. This is an in-game first for the team, and it is available for all players in Time Trial mode, as they have launched the content ahead of the Formula 1 Aramco pre-season testing 2023 event, which will be starting later this week. You can check out the trailer for it below along with more info and a couple of quotes about the addition, which will be added on March 2nd, 2023.

"The striking red and black design that Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will drive in the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship is an evolution of last year's model which achieved a P6 finish in the 2022 FIA Formula 1 Constructors' Championship – their best result in more than a decade. Additionally, EA Sports F1 22 will be added to The Play List from March 2, making the game available for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. New players across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC will be able to enjoy the thrills of Formula 1 with the most authentic re-creation of the pinnacle of motorsport."

"Pre-season testing is a highly anticipated moment in the Formula 1 calendar and the first opportunity for fans to see how the new cars perform on the grid," said John Merchant, F1 Global Brand Director at EA Sports. "We're delighted to become part of the 2023 re-start by giving our players the opportunity to be the first to race and test the C43."

"Fans mean everything to us, and to be able to give them the chance to drive our new Alfa Romeo F1 Team C43 before they even see it on track in real life is something that was never done before in the official F1 video games," said Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Managing Director of Sauber Group and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Representative. "We're proud to be at the leading edge of this pioneering approach, but this is not the whole story: we have a lot more in store, planned for the season, and we can't wait to show you."
