Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na Annoucned for SoulCalibur VI at EVO 2018

Bandai Namco had a few big reveals today, with SoulCalibur VI being front and center during EVO 2018 as Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na will join the game. When we learned that the roster of the game would be limited to 20 characters, we figured there would be some long-time mainstays that might be left out of this version to give way for more variety in weapons. So, naturally, when we saw that both Zasalamel and Kilik were both coming back, we figured the developers might leave people like Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na off the table. Thankfully, that isn't the case as both got a two-for-one trailer confirming their return today.

We have the SoulCalibur VI reveal trailer for you here, showing off the mighty force that is Astaroth in what appears to be a much more intelligent role. Over the years he's kind of screamed and barked threatening lines while clubbing you with his mighty axe, but this time around he's got more words and what feels like a better-developed personality behind the blows. Meanwhile, Seong Mi-Na retains her constantly determined demeanor and wastes little time smacking you around and cutting you down with grace. October 19th cannot come soon enough!
