Bungie is Hosting a Destiny 2 Gambit Showdown Tomorrow

Just ahead of the Gambit open beta weekend, Bungie is hosting a special livestream for Destiny 2 that features two teams of popular Destiny pros, streamers, and influencers going head-to-head in the new PvP/PvE hybrid game mode coming with the Forsaken expansion this fall.

The stream will start tomorrow, August 31st at 1:00 PM PDT and will be hosted on the official Bungie Twitch channel. The stream will feature the following:

• ALPHA TEAM: Zach LaVine, Vic Mensa, SchviftyFive, True Vanguard
• BRAVO TEAM: Dillon Francis, Luka Doncic, Ms5000Watts, Di3sel
• Hosted By: MTashed, DrLupo and DeeJ

Bungie is hoping that a professional head-to-head in the new Gambit mode will get Destiny 2 players excited for the upcoming expansion. Which is something the game sorely needs. However, Forsaken has more to offer than just the Gambit mode, with a pretty tense story campaign that starts off with the death of fan-favorite Hunter Vanguard, Cayde-6.

This stream is being hosted this week so that it hits just ahead of the Gambit Free Trial weekend which starts on September 1 at 10 AM PT and will run for 24 hours, and of course. The official launch for Destiny 2: Forsaken will follow on September 4, 2018.
