CNBC Confirms Fortnite Streamer Makes $500k Monthly
After getting much praise and hype and even a fair share of criticism on social media for breaking about a dozen different single-streamer records on Twitch, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is finally getting some of the mainstream press he probably deserved days ago. Some of the news that's coming to light is both making aspiring gamers really happy and traditionalists who don't see what all the fuss about this is about very angry. The latest to come out which was confirmed in an interview with CNBC (which we have for you below) is that Ninja is making out with a cool $500k monthly off the streaming service.
Keep in mind that Ninja has been doing this for a while and he didn't just spring onto the gaming scene a year ago. He's built up a brand that people recognize and know to tune into. While Drake's appearance may have pushed him into the stratosphere of notoriety, he was making that money before Drake came along as one of the most popular streamers online. So remember kids, success is achievable, but you do have to work at it.
