"Deadly Premonition 2" Will Hit Nintendo Switch Next Year
Deadly Premonition fans have quite a lot to celebrate from the latest Nintendo Direct, as the first game is available on the Nintendo Switch right now. Additionally, the sequel will be hitting the console next year.
The description for Deadly Premonition 2 reads:
In the year 2005, FBI agent York visits Le Carré, a small town in New Orleans where he encounters a mysterious serial murder case alongside his "friend" Zach.
Produced by the original creator team. The story takes place in a small town in New Orleans which was created based on research and interviews.
Right now, the sequel is just penned for a 2020 release.
The Switch edition of the original game is available for digital download on the Nintendo e-Shop right now, billed as Deadly Premonition Origins. For some reason. The game was initially released in 2010 by List, and is one of the first games written and directed by Japanes designer Hidetaka Suehiro (also known as Swery). The game was developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC. The Switch port is the first version of the game to be released on a current-gen console.
