Destiny Will Transition Into Age Of Triumph Next Tuesday

Destiny's final live update Age of Triumph will go live next Tuesday, March 28th.  The new update marks the end of content for Destiny as the upcoming Destiny 2 is set to release sometime this year, though Bungie plans to continue supporting Destiny even after transitioning their development teams to focusing on the sequel.

The Age of Triumph will pick up where Rise of Iron left off and should close out the story for Destiny. It'll include a Record Book of new challenges for most game activities and will be reintroducing old raids. You'll also get some extra weekly ritual changes.

The official announcement reads in full:

Enter Age of Triumph and celebrate your journey through the world of Destiny. Guiding your travels, the largest Record Book to date will contain pages of new challenges to complete for most Destiny activities.

In addition to conquering the new Record Book, players will be able to experience the return of iconic Raids raised to 390 Light, take on the new Daybreak Nightfall modifier, earn new gear and weapons, collect items from Destiny's past, and more.

Previous Age of Triumph announcements include a return to the old raids, the team continuing to support Destiny into the foreseeable future, and a look at the updates to your weekly rituals.
