Discord Introduces "Priority Speak" for Their Voice System

Have you ever been on Discord and had to deal with a few different players all trying to make their voices heard at the same time? Yeah, like, every Discord session. Well, now if you happen to be the room leader or the person who has been appointed to be in charge, there's a new update to the service you might enjoy. The company has added Priority Speak to their software, as they announced yesterday evening.

The short version of this is when you give someone the ability to be the Priority Speak in Discord, it will make their voice the one that is the loudest while everyone else's voices are lowered. It's a lovely little addition that will work out great for private gameplay, but we're curious as to how well it will work when you're seeing Twitch streamers and YouTube content creators try to use it in their videos. Enjoy the trailer above as we wait to see some hilarious results from overtaking.
