Frostpunk Awarded the Best Polish Game Prize at Digital Dragons
Last night, Polish gaming conference Digital Dragons held their annual awards ceremony to celebrate game developers in six categories: Best Polish Game, Best Polish Mobile Game, Best Polish Game Design, Best Polish Game Art, Best Polish Game Soundtrack, and Best Foreign Game. Naturally the DD Awards focus on the Polish game dev scene, which is a rather large market when you look at the sheer number of devs native to the country.
Much like the CEEGA Awards last fall, 11 bit studios took home the most awards for their deep strategy title Frostpunk. The Best Foreign Game award went to Red Dead Redemption II, which was one of last year's major game releases. As for Poland's game company with the biggest brand recognition, CD Projekt Red did go home with an award for Thronebreaker, specifically for the game's soundtrack, which is well deserved.
The full list of winners for all six categories are below:
Best Polish Game
- Frostpunk – 11 bit Studios
Best Polish Mobile Game
- Hexologic – Mythic Owl
Best Polish Game Design

Best Game Art
