Geoff Keighley Hits No Man's Sky With Some Harsh Criticisms
No Man's Sky was first revealed to the world at VGX 2013 by host Geoff Keighley, in a trailer that really got people excited. It is what paved the way for the game, and the start of the 'over hype' situation the game found itself in at release.
Well, Keighley has now changed his tone a little, laying into the game somewhat. This occured on the YouTube Gaming show, in a final segments. While Keighley is considered and has plaudets for the game, he does go into quite a few critcisms too.
At one point he says that Hello Games' Sean Murray stopped wanting to be around Keighley as his criticisms were too negative, as the game went into the final stretch.
It's a fascinating little segment. I'm not sure exactly why Keighley chose to come out with criticisms against the game, but the dude doesn't mind speaking his mind.
You can watch the speech here. It's interesting to see it come from the guy who essentially announced No Man's Sky, and you can make up your own mind as to whether this is uncalled for, or fair.
