Developer CtrlMovie are bringing us another FMV game called Late Shift which is set to hit this April. The game will bridge real-world footage with a sort of choose-your-own-adventure style of gameplay in which your choices will effect the storyline. There are over 180 decision points and seven different conclusions to the game so it's definitely going to have some replay value.

Late Shift is a "high stakes FMV chrime thriller with branching storylines." The plot summary is this "after being forced into the robbery of a lucrative auction house, mathematics student Matt is left proving his innocence in the brutal London heist. The consequences of his actions take him on a vicious and violent journey across the capital, escaping the twisted web the player has the power to weave."

According to Eurogamer "Questions posed of the player include, do you steal the car or do you run away? And, do you follow orders or sabotage the plan? The game gives you just seconds to decide as the film continues to roll with no pauses and no looping footage." So you'll definitely want to play this game while at full attention, rather than half-asleep.

This is definitely a game to watch out for, especially if you love plot-heavy games like I do. If nothing else, this'll prove a game worth re-playing at least once just to see what other endings you can discover.

Late Shift will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam for PC in April. The official announcement trailer is below.
