Nintendo Does A Complete Look Back At Old-School Metroid

Sometimes Nintendo does some pretty cool stuff when they look back on their own history. Over the weekend, this Metroid video was posted to their official YouTube channel, taking a look back at Samus and all of her 2D adventures. As someone who played these as they were coming out, it's nice to see the company show some love that doesn't feel completely tacky. Sure, it's to sell Metroid: Samus Returns, but who cares? At least Metroid as a series is getting some decent love after years of Samus not having her own game and just being in the mix of Smash Bros.
