Nintendo Switch Receives Its Best Week Of Sales In The U.S.
This morning, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch saw the best week of sales within the United States since launching in early 2017. Both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite systems sold a combined total of more than 830k units, according to their internal data. The sales are reportedly due to many Black Friday deals on Switch games and accessories, which contributed to selling more consoles. Plus, Cyber Monday broke records as well, becoming the best Cyber Monday for the Switch to date. Here's a few more details from the company on the weekend's sales.
"Holiday shoppers see the value of Nintendo Switch, which offers a vast library of games for every type of player," said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
