Olija Makes Its Debut During The Devolver Direct Event

During the Devolver Direct livestream, Skeleton crew and Devlover Digital debuted a new game to check out called Olija. As you might suspect, the game kind of came out of nowhere as the event itself is there to make fun of the industry as a whole and give little regard to anyone who takes it seriously. So to suddenly see a real trailer pop up very randomly in the middle of what was a rant on the way everything has worked in a year without E3 was an awesome experience. The game itself is about Faraday's quest, as you play as a shipwrecked man who is trapped in the country of Terraphage, which is filled with mystery and intrigue. All you have with you is a legendary harpoon, as you attempt to find a way off the island and return home. This action-adventure game developed by Skeleton Crew will be released for PC and Nintendo Switch sometime in the Fall of 2020. For now, enjoy the trailer!

Olija is a game about Faraday's quest, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country to return to their homelands. Through adventurous exploration, narration and razor sharp combat, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic lady that Faraday finds himself bound to over time. Inspired by swashbuckling tales and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about facing the unknown in adversity.

  • Explore a mysterious and handcrafted world inspired by sailor's legends and Asian fantasy.
  • Wield the Harpoon of legend and rethink movement through platforming, puzzle and combat.
  • Rescue fellow castaways and meet curious characters to learn more about Terraphage and the enigmatic Olija.
  • Beautiful melancholic soundtrack inspired by Flamenco, lo-fi and traditional Japanese music.
  • Craft magic hats!
