Report Says WB Montreal's Suicide Squad Game Cancelled As Studio Moves On To Damian Wayne Game
What WB Monteal has been up to since Batman: Arkham Origins is a personal wonder for me. The studio was built up to make DC games, but after their last try in 2013, they've remained silent.
Word on the street was that the studio was making a Suicide Squad game, but it doesn't seem that is the case any more. According to a report by Kotaku (claiming three sources), the developer has been moved off the game, which was possibly a co-op game. It seems now the studio has been shifted entirely onto a Batman game starring Damian Wayne, which had also begun to make murmurs of late.
The report says there was a plan to reveal the game in early December, but due to developer turmoil, that didn't come to pass.
I'm not really sure what a Batman Damian Wayne game would look like in all honesty. Bloodier? Younger? Pop-ier? Moe Mature? I assume we will hear something about the game sooner rather than later.
