Scape-IT Revealed More Details For SKALD: Against the Black Priory
This past week, Scape-IT took a moment to reveal more details about their upcoming indie title SKALD: Against the Black Priory. The game is going to be an awesome little throwback title for those who loved the RPG systems we used to have back in the late '80s and early '90s of PC and console gaming. You'll put together a party of adventures and set forth on a quest that is half based in text and decision making and the other half based in traditional turn-based combat. The game's art style takes us back to some of the older NES properties where you didn't have a lot to work with on the screen or in the programming, but they used everything they could to make it work. This game is no different, except that have a ton of content for you to go through.
As of right now, the developers are preparing the game for an Early Access system, with plans to release an open beta sometime in the Fall. At which point the game should be about 75% complete. You can read a little more and check out the screenshots for the game as we wait for more news.
