Now that Skybound Games is in control of the gaming rights to Telltale's The Walking Dead, it appears they'd like to do a little more with the license. A couple of interesting tweets went up this week from both the official Walking Dead Twitter account, as well as a comment from Skybound themselves, asking the fans of the series what kind of video game they'd like to see in the future for the series.
Super hypothetical question #TWDFamily – what kind of #WalkingDead video game would you love to see get made? Asking for a friend 🤔 pic.twitter.com/0TniE7K1ZJ

We're looking for suggestions BEYOND existing games/series! 😆

Now let's be very clear, while this all sounds promising, this is not an official declaration that they are going to make a new game. If they were going to do it, they'd just say it without the emote faces making it all cheeky. But if the company is soliciting ideas from the public as a way to gauge interest and see what people would be willing to play, that could be really interesting down the road if they decide to put money into a new project. We're probably never seeing another version of Telltale's The Walking Dead, but this has promise for something you might want in another genre.
