Square Enix Announces Lineup for San Diego Comic-Con 2018
Those of you headed to San Diego Comic-Con next week will be getting a few surprises from the team at Square Enix. The company announced today that they'll be bringing four specific video games to the SDCC floor for convention goers to try out. The four are Dragon Quest XI, Kingdom Hearts III, Mobius Final Fantasy, and Star Ocean: Anamnesis.
DQ11, SOA, and MFF don't surprise us; however, we are a bit intrigued that the company decided to bring a demo of KH3 before showing it off at say Gamescom, PAX West, or Tokyo Game Show. We naturally assumed the company would keep any demos of the game under lock and key until we got closer to launch, but it looks like they want the public to try it out earlier than expected.
The company also announced some exclusives for purchase and giveaways at the event, which we have for you below.
Fans can also purchase the latest products from the BRING ARTS, TRADING ARTS and PLAY ARTS KAI lines at the booth and participate in the FINAL FANTASY Trading Card Game ("FFTCG") in Gunslinger style matches to win premium FFTCG Promo Cards. Daily giveaways at the booth while supplies last include:
- DRAGON QUEST XI double-sided posters and "Mark of Light" temporary tattoos
- MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY hand fans
- STAR OCEAN®: ANAMNESIS buttons
