Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Will Feature Mutliple Eras (And Single Player Is Confirmed Again)
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is going to be a big deal this year. The first game, while liked by many, certainly suffered some content issues. The moment to moment multiplayer was great, but the depth and variety did leave lots to be desired.
Supposedly, we are getting that in Star Wars: Battlefront 2, and we just got a good glimpse at how. During EA's earnings call today (via GameInformer), it was revealed that the game will have a single-player, which we already knew, but more importantly, will span multiple eras. Obviously, the original trilogy will be a focus (and by proxy Rogue One), and you have to imagine current The Force Awakens timeframe will also feature.
The real question for me is, does it touch the prequels? I wouldn't be surprised if it did decide to skip the timeframe entirely. Having said that, I'd welcome the variety.
