A Mass Effect Theme Park Attraction Is Coming To California Next Year
Mass Effect is a franchise that has a huge galaxy spanning scope, and it's a place fans love being a part of. Being able to traverse your own ship and talk to your space buddies is a pretty enthralling experience.
Well, you will be able to get even closer to the universe next year at California's Great America. In a post on Bioware's blog, it was revealed that a new attraction will be gracing the park in 2016, with a few minor details given about what it actually will be. It is described as:
The interactive ride, curated by a live performer, will take guests on a journey to a distant planet, where they will face off against larger-than-life foes and fight to save the day. Using cutting-edge 3D technology and 4D effects, the ride throws passengers right into the action, creating a fantastical adventure that they won't soon forget.
This is pretty interesting. With Mass Effect: Andromeda coming next year, it is good timing. Putting the attraction in Great America is also pretty…interesting. I'd love to know more details. I'm sure something will emerge before too long if it is here in 2016.
