Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was a big deal when it came out. It seemingly came out of no where, to end up not only taking several Game of the Year awards, but also, potentially laid the foundations for emergent storytelling with its unique Orc spawning system.
And, perhaps unsurprisingly, it seems a second game might be on the way. As spotted by NerdLeaks, stunt woman Lauren Mary Kim listed motion capture work on Shadows of Mordor 2 on her LinkedIn profile. The work was allegedly done for Blur Studios, who are no stranger to creating video game cinematics.
None of this is an out and out confirmation of course, but we've seen these kinds of confirmations slip out of LinkedIn plenty now, so I'm willing to throw my chips in. Also, was a sequel ever truly in doubt? Even if this turns out to be bogus, I still think we hear about this game in the near future.
