Destiny Warlocks Were Going To Have A Necromancy Sub-Class And Still Might In The Future
I run a warlock in Destiny primarily, switching between the two subclasses, one for PVE, the other for PVP. The Taken King is going to add a third subclass for every class, the Warlocks now getting the Stormcaller class specifically.
At one point, things could have been getting a little more…undead though. According to GameInformer who are currently running month long coverage on the game, there was a time when Bungie were considering a Necromancer subclass. I don't know quite how that would work, but I have to say, I'm pretty interested regardless.
The idea isn't dead either. The article makes note that the team are hoping to return to the idea at some point. I assume this would work somewhat differently to how the reviving Super works now, which lets you come back to life after dying. Maybe you could run around reviving all of your dead comrades in those on-the-brink moments of death. Interesting…
