Epic Games Announces 'Fortnite Creative'
It looks like Epic Games may have already announced one of the things they may have revealed at The Game Awards this week for Fortnite. This morning the company sent out a brief press alert letting fans know that Fortnite Creative would be coming to the game, and would launch on December 6th along with the official kickoff of Season 7. So what is Fortnite Creative? According to the company's blog post, it's essentially what the builder's mode already was, except this time around you get your own private island to build content on, including your own experiments and games using all of the assets currently available in the game's library.
If you have the Battle Pass, you can experience it for a week before they open it up to everyone starting on December 13th. The company isn't shying away from the idea that it will have a rocky start when it launches, because it's a whole new element being added to the game that is essentially a sandbox mode. So they publically gave themselves leeway in case it bugs out, crashes, or just kinda sucks at first. On a grander scale, if this is what the company was going to announce at The Game Awards, it's cool, but it's not earth-shattering, so here's hoping they got something more awesome in mind like we think they are.
