Former Mass Effect Lead Writer Returns To Bioware

Drew Karpyshyn really was one of the most important parts of bringing Mass Effect to life. He was a huge part of the first game's success and continued with work on the sequel as well. He left the studio in 2012 to work on his Chaos Burn books, taking him away from the game's third installment though.

It seems. he is ready for more though, as the writer has returned to Bioware. In a blog post, he announced that he was returning after completing his trilogy of novels. He says that his return isn't heralding a new project at the developer as, at least for now, he will be focusing on Star Wars: The Old Republic.

It's good to see him back though. His writing talent is considerable, so getting him back at the developer is always going to be an asset for them.
