Rainbow Six: Siege Beta Has Been Extended To October
The Rainbow Six: Siege beta has seen some hardship over the last few days, with people having trouble connecting to games. This is exactly what betas are for of course, as developers try to figure out the limitations of the their software.
Still, when people put time aside to play it, or it is part of a pre-order bonus, that can be problematic. Ubisoft have recognised the network problems with the game and said that they are now extending the beta by three days to make it up to fans. It will now end on October 1st.
I've been at EGX the last few days so I haven't been playing, but what I played at E3 had me impressed. The real tactical slant to the title was neat and really gave the game its own identity. Hopefully this beta gives the team all the data they need to optimise its launch.
