Red Dead Redemption 2 Rumour Claims Game Is Coming In 2017
Red Dead Redemption 2 rumours are basically as old as Red Dead Redemption itself, so with an E3 incoming and the time 'feeling' right for a new Rockstar announcement, it's not that surprising to hear about a new one getting some traction.
This one comes from Fraghero, who claim to have a source who is close to an ex-Rockstar employee, saying that the game has been in development for four years and will be ready to come out in fall 2017. The report claims the game's title is Red Dead Redemption 2 : Legends Of The West and that the game will feature multiple playable characters and have a huge map. It's also stated that we should expect an announcement around E3, with a next-gen console version of the first game releasing this year.
Rockstar aren't known for turning up to E3, but their parent company Take-Two have said they they will have a huge presence at the show. If that is with Rockstar in toe or not, it isn't clear, but certainly possible.
I think there is reasonable cause for doubt about this source, but the time feels right for another Rockstar announcement, and I'd bet a lot on it being Red Dead Redemption 2. I can also see it being in 2017, so there my be some fire to this smoke.
