Report Claims Nintendo NX Will Ship 12 Million Units In 2016
Details about the Nintendo NX have been pretty scarce since we found out about the console earlier this year. There have been rumours flying around that the console will launch this year, but they have remained just that. Rumours.
However, here is another one to throw on the pile. Digitime have reported that suppliers expects between 10-12 million units of the NX to ship next year. It says production will begin in the first financial quarter of next year, so around March, and will be handled by console manufacturer Foxconn Electronics.
Of course, this is only a report, and we've not heard anything officially. However, I am actually beginning to think that this new console could actually be out in less than a year. I imagine we will hear something about it at E3, at the very latest either way. Watch this space.
