Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Is Getting A Demo
We don't get many demos anymore. It seems that this practice has been swallowed up by 'betas' that let players try out online modes, but now only after pre-ordering a game.
Naughty Dog seem to have a fair bit of confidence in their 1080p, 60fps up-rez of the Uncharted series though. They've announced via the PlayStation blog, a demo will be release for the collection "this summer". No specific date or contents of the demo have been confirmed.
I understand why demos have died out, what with the positives of putting out a slice of a game possibly only hurting it, so it shows a lot of confidence in a product to release them out nowadays. I think this mood bodes well for the quality of the game.
