Volume Is Getting VR Based DLC That Will Launch Alongside PlayStation VR
Back in August, I wrote a rather glowing review for Volume, the new game by Mike Bithell. The time attack stealth challenge really grabbed me in ways I wasn't expecting, and the simplicity of the mechanics are really quite wonderful.
I've been looking forward to seeing if there was going to be any post release content for the game, and now we know there is. I have to say though, I wasn't expecting this. Bithell today announced Volume: Coda which is going to be a VR only DLC for Volume. It will launch on the day PlayStation VR comes out, and the good thing is, if you own Volume on PS4, you'll get Coda free. The content will have 30 new levels.

The game uses a board metaphor, with you controlling your avatar as they stealthily infiltrate environments. You'll be playing in the office of The Troubleshooter, a legendary problem solver.Coda takes place after the events of the main game, and continues the story with a new cast of actors.

Sign me up for this. Volume is a great game and I'm very excited about the possibilities of VR. Give that tech to someone like Mike Bithell to play in too? Count me in.
