Woodland Games Announces Their Next Game Autopsy Simulator
Woodland Games announced an interesting title over the weekend as their next video game on the way will be Autopsy Simulator. Woodland is one of those companies that have a lot of games on the way but there hasn't been much released online. Most of their stuff is currently scheduled for late this year or sometime in the future. But of all those games, none caught our attention more than this one. You might think this may be one of those weird simulation games like Surgeon Simulator where its more for laughs than actually trying to save the patient. But no, this one is a kind of simulator game with horror elements mixed in. You as the player will perform an examination of a corpse, and on the results, the player can determine the cause of death. But as you examine the body, some weird stuff starts happening around you to where you have to question what is reality and what is just a horror creeping on you. You can read more about it below and check out the announcement trailer, as we wait for the company to give us a release date.
"Autopsy Simulator is a simulator game with horror elements that transform into a mystery. The player takes the role of pathologist named Jack. During the autopsy of a mysterious woman, Jack finds inside her the engagement ring of his long lost wife Kate. When the action is in progress other elements of the mystery are found. In order to reveal the truth, Jack has to fight a battle with the sinister forces and his own thoughts. Examine the reports, look through the files, find out the history of the victim. Everyone has own story. So to do the autopsy well, you need to know it from the inside (and) out. Each case was created with the help of pathomorphologists and forensic doctors, so you will feel as if you're involved in a real autopsy process. We're putting our focus on/into realism, so organs, their invoices, injuries, and cases are presented with attention to detail and realism. This is an unprecedented combination – apart from a realistic representation of the autopsy, we have got a spine-chilling story and an interesting story.
