Archie TV Series Moves To The CW

riverdalepromo_hires2The television adaptation of Archie Comics called Riverdale has moved over to the CW. The one-hour drama series produced by Greg Berlanti will join the home of three other of his series. The pilot is being written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and will also be produced by Sharon Schechter and John Goldwater.

The modern take on the well-known franchise that features Archie, Betty, Veronica, as well as Josie and the Pussycats,  was originally slated for Fox.
