Batman: Arkham Knight Is Having A Rough Time On PC
Batman: Arkham Knight is definitely one of the most anticipated games this year. The prospect of seeing Rocksteady finish their Batman trilogy has had a lot of people salivating.
It seems a lot of PC users aren't having a good time though. The game is reportedly being hit with all manner of bugs and frame rate issues on the platform, and is currently sporting a 'Mostly Negative' user score on Steam. That is pretty profound.
The game is also locked at 30fps, but a very quick solution has been found. If you go to the game directory "\BmGame\Config\BmSystemSettings.ini" and change "Max_FPS=30", "Max_FPS=9999" in the config directory you are golden. (Thanks IGN.)
This looks like a new chapter in the all too common story of a bad PC port. The PC community is probably the most vocal and passionate too. If you tick them off, you are sure to hear about it. I'm certain Warner Brothers and Rocksteady are well aware now if they weren't before. Hopefully this gets sorted soon.
